Purpose: The McAllen Citizens League (MCL) was formed to engage in educational and informative undertakings; more particularly to inform the citizenry of McAllen by sponsoring presentations covering current affairs, including open forum discussions of civic matters, history, and other current topics as applied to problems of the day. This organization is non-sectarian and non-partisan. No candidate for public office shall be endorsed by the MCL.
Meetings: The McAllen Citizens League will typically meet on the third Thursday of the month, September through May for a luncheon meeting. In December the meeting may be held at a different time and will be a holiday gathering for members. Having lunch is optional and the public is always invited.
