The McAllen Citizens League will present information regarding the two propositions on the proposed $35 million bond issue and the sale of Westside Park at its monthly luncheon on Thursday April 22 at noon at the Salvation Army Center on 23rd Street and Pecan in McAllen.

 

Members of McAllen Parks PAC, including Danny Gurwitz, Brian Lewis, Ronnie Tavarez, Floyd Seale and Rene Garcia, Jr., will speak on behalf of the propositions. After the presentation, Citizens League members will have a chance to ask the group questions on the issues.

 

“This election is very important to the citizens of McAllen and providing information about the propositions is what the League is all about” said League President Christopher Julian.
